Sure, I love exploring temples, finding local markets and climbing active volcanoes (yes, I actually did this in Antigua) but sometimes we all just need to sit back and relax.

Tapas de le Día at BarEsca
Since my trip to Barcelona with my wonderful Hens, I have been craving good tapas food, seeing as this is pretty much what we are 90% of the time. (Not that I'm complaining.
So when a work colleague suggested, who had also recently been to Barcelona, suggested a new Tapas restaurant in Nottingham called BarEsca. After sampling it out with a few people from work, I dragged my beloved husband back at the weekend to sample their menu and fantastic menu de le día for £9.95.

How to visit the Pyramids and have an awesome time!
For me, Egypt has always been a place that I have wanted to explore. Since being a little girl and hearing about the ancient facts and fictions of Egypt, I have always wanted to visit the famous Pyramids of Giza to see what life was once like.
So, I began my search through my usual channels of travel blogs and Trip Advisor, to find nothing but negative views. People saying about their bad experiences, commenting on "the place being a dump", "we were hassled by camel sellers" and "they (Pyramids) look onto blocks of run down flats" etc.

Favourite Gaudi places from Barcelona
This is the final set in my adventures to #ETLBarcelona and what a perfect way to round it all off than by showing you my favourite Gaudi architectural artwork.
If you've been to Barcelona before, then you'll know his art is spread throughout buildings across the city. As the crowds gather around to admire at the intricate details, you'll be truly blown away by the beauty of what he has created. I know I was - and that's why I've create my top three Gaudi Buildings.
Enjoy.

Home Ramblings: Walk like an Egyptian
Every time I think of Egyptian decor, I think of rich blues and golds, followed with strong monochrome patterns.
So as we gear up for our honeymoon in Hurghada, Egypt, I am becoming more and more excited at the idea of picking up some beautiful home decor to bring back to our home. Recently, I have been reading up on shopping at the local markets and souks in Egypt from numerous blogs / forums; and I am especially excited to hopefully pay a visit to the Khan al-Khalili souk - one of the biggest souks in Egypt.
With that in mind, so that I don't bring back extra suitcases, I have created a little mood board over on my Polyvore page of items that I would love to collect on our Egyptian travels.
