Pretty Pictures at Park Güell | Barcelona

Since studying art at secondary school through to my A-Levels, I have always wanted to visit the Gaudi installations at Park Güell in Barcelona. So when my sneaky 'hen-ettes' planned this trip into my hen party celebrations, I was pretty happy to spend my morning here.

Located about 45-60 minutes (depending on where you are) in Barcelona, there are many ways to get to this beautiful park. (Click here for 'How to get here' information) We decided to jump in a taxi, as there was a large group of us and so it only worked out around 3-5 Euros each.

Throughout our wedding will be simplistic jam jars with hessian, lace and ribbon bows - which have all been handmade by one of my amazing bridesmaids, Made by Bra.

#TBT: Travel memories with my girls.

As most of you are aware, I have been fortunate to travel the world with some truly epic people. From my family to fiance to my best friends, I was recently asked by loveholidays.com* what my favourite travel memories were. When I began thinking about it, there was actually too many to choose from.

However, with part two of my hen party coming up this weekend, I have recently been thinking about my awesome hen party adventure to Barcelona with my girls and all the other adventures we have joined together.

Hidden Gems in Cobden Chambers

If you've ever visited Nottingham before, you may have heard about visiting the Creative Quarter.

A place that combines quirky independent cafes (such as Wired) and cool boutique style shops. One location in particular that I'm obsessed with visiting is Cobden Chambers

Beers and Brisket at the Malt Cross | Nottingham

I’m writing this post with a very full tummy of beef brisket and beer...and where did I receive these marvel delights, you ask? Well good people, tonight I paid a visit to the beautiful, historic Malt Cross pub in Nottingham.

Located on St James Street, a two minute walk from Nottingham’s Market Square, the Malt Cross is a pretty cool real ale house/dance hall that is tucked away from the main hustle and bustle. It’s important to also bear in mind that this is not just any old real ale boozer – from craft workshops to cave tours, the Malt Cross offers customers little added extras to their experience.

Morning markets at La Boqueria | Barcelona

Whilst visiting Barcelona, we just had to pay a visit to the famous La Boqueria market to sample some of the local fresh meats, seafood and fruits before taking them on a picnic down by the marina.

Open from 8am until 8:30pm there is nothing that this market doesn't have to offer for food and drinks choices. You'll find this little (that's a slight understatement) market just off La Rambla and close to the Liceu metro stop.
