Home Ramblings with Wilko: Kitchen Inspiration
A new year and a new home is on the way...after my short winter adventure in mid-February, me and my lovely fiancee with be moving into a new apartment in the city center on Nottingham. This is our first unfurnished apartment, before we make the 'big move' into the property market.
Having traveled around so many amazing places I am constantly experiencing beautiful landscapes and cultures and I become inspired to try and take the colours, patterns or fabrics into my home.

And so I have enlisted the help of the lovely people over at Wilko.com to help me furnish my apartment in a series of three blog posts. The thing I love about Wilko is that 1) they sell everything you need for a home and garden and 2) their products are modern, cheap and pretty good quality.

Product List: Red Canisters: Tea, Coffee, and Sugar / Paint: Raspberry Bellini and Mint Crisp / Vintage Floral Worktop Glass / Morphy Richards Sliver Kettle and Toaster / Wilko Vintage Floral Dinner Set 12 Piece
My kitchen is very simple with neutral colours of white and grey. I wanted to add a feminine touch without using overly feminine colours, such as pink or purple. So I have opted for the Wilko vintage collection glass board and dinner set in these beautiful aqua colours. I've then paired this with raspberry red canisters and silver appliances to keep it looking fresh and contemporary.
I'm unable to paint my apartment - gutted - but if I could I would also be using the beautiful Raspberry Bellini and/or Mint Crisp paints to add a splash of colour onto my walls.
