Byron Restaurant: A Proper Hamburger in Manchester

Last night I paid a visit to a new burger joint in town, called Byron (haha sorry I was practising my New York accent).

Byron calls itself a "proper hamburger" restaurant, although it takes classic American food and makes it very well,  the interior reflects its northern industrial surroundings with hanging light bulbs and exposed brick work. (I would like to know if all Byron restaurants are like this)

Good Burger Grub in Manchester...
But let's get down to the important thing...the burgers. If you're visiting Manchester and want a good burger restaurant, there is currently a renowned place called Almost Famous (definitely worth a visit too); however, in my opinion Byron burgers are pretty damn good too.

I opted for the cheese burger (£7:95) and French fries (£2:95). With this you are able to choose from four difference cheeses that you may like on your burger. I opted for the emmental cheese which was incredibly tasty on my juicy burger!  The majority of the guys who I was with opted for the signature Byron burger which also looked (and I'm sure tasted) amazing!

In terms of drinks theirs the option of soft or alcoholic drinks - all of which are slightly pricey in my opinion, but we all ordered rounds of Brooklyn beer (£4:25 a bottle).

Overall, I was pretty impressed with Byron. The burgers are very good and well worth the money in my opinion. The drinks are a little expensive, but hey, there's nothing stopped you asking for table water and not splashing out on beers.

Byron you are my new burger restaurant of choice.
