When joining in the weekly #girlstravel chat on Twitter, I came across a blogger who combined my two loves in live, fashion and shopping. (Check her out at @TravelShop-a-Holic)
After seeing her review places around the world and their best shopping locations, it got me to thinking about how I should start talking about travel fashion for girls.
So I have decided to start a series of posts called Wanderlust Fashion to run alongside my other travel information posts.
So here it is, the first one of the Wanderlust Fashion posts and I thought I would start with travel fashion for spring 2013.

Pattern Pants
A loose and baggy pant/trouser is always popular amongst any traveller as it keeps you cool and comfortable when moving from place to place. However, now you can add a little style as pattern loose pants are a popular choice on the high-street this season, in particular with H&M.Monochrome Prints
Monochrome is something that is always big in any fashion season, however designers have reworked how we style monochrome for Spring/Summer 2013. Take Louis Vuitton for example who revived the 1960's checker board look in the collection. Below is a combination of Aztec prints and monochrome designs.
Metallics
I am always a fan of added a metallic to my outfit, at the moment I am obsessed with gold. This season there is a number of designers such as Christian Dior, Mary Katrantzou, Viktor & Rolf, Burberry Prorsum and Diane von Furstenberg. Metallics will certainly be a must have this seasson.
