USA: A new place to visit?
America is next on my check list of places to visit and I feel that the Rocky Mountains are going to be a must place to visit. The Rocky Mountains are a place of such beauty and perfection that it could tame the world's biggest consumers to simply buy a wooden hut and live of the land for the rest of their days.

Rocky Road Tasty Treats

A friend of mine, for the sakes of this blog we will call her Fairy, recently made Rocky Road Treats with her class of children.

Feeling very inspired I made some of these rocky road treats over the weekend.

Ingredients: 

+ 250g Chocolate (Dairy Milk if you want tasty chocolate)

+ 3 tbs Golden Syrup 

+ A packet of Shortbread

+ 100g marshmellows

+ 2tbs icing sugar

Should anyone want to make them here are the ingredients

Steps:

1. Break down chocolate into pieces and melt in a pan (use a little bit of milk to make the chocolate break down easier. 

2. Break down shortbread and cut marshmellows in half, add to chocolate once it has fully melted and stir. 


3. Add in syrup and maybe cornflakes/rice crispies for an added rocky crunch. 


4. Spoon the mixture into a square or circle dish and leave to set in the fridge for 60 minutes. 


5. Sprinkle icing sugar over the top and/or add more marshmellows. *Optional 


6. Once the mixture has set cut up into small pieces and share with your friends and family (or simply eat it to yourself hehe)
